ZWO has announced the latest version of its popular ASIAR device for integrated control of astrophotography equipment, the ASAIR Mini. The new version is similar to ASAIR’s current offering, the ASAIR Plus, but is 42% smaller and 21% lighter. The ASAIR Mini controls the same equipment as the ASAIR Plus for imaging and video, though live stacking is limited to cameras with resolution of 26MP or less. Remote monitoring and control are available on a phone or tablet via a wireless connection. The ASAIR Mini is housed in a CNC aluminum body and has 32GB of eMMC onboard storage. It offers one USB C port for data export, four USB 2.0 ports for device control and power, two 12V DC power outputs for equipment, and a shutter release port for DSLR cameras.

MSRP: $199
