Stellarvue has announced its largest apochromatic refractor telescope, the SVX180T, a 180mm, f/7 apochromatic refractor. Stellarvue notes that the scope’s objective uses an Ohara S-FPL-55 super-low-dispersion center element. The SVX180T includes with a 3.5″ Feather Touch focuser, tube rings, a 13” D-series dovetail bar, a heavy duty case, and a Zygo interferometric test report taken at full aperture. Stellarvue is taking pre-orders on this new telescope and expecting to ship in 2022.
