Sky-Watcher has introduced a new line of ED doublet apochromatic refractors, the Evolux series, with 62mm and 82mm models, both f/6.45. Lenses are composed of ED glass elements with matched optics and Sky-Watcher’s proprietary Metallic High-Transmission Coatings™ (MHTC™). Both feature 2.4-inch 11:1 dual-speed rack-and-pinion focusers, adjustable dew shields, clamshell mounting systems with dual finder brackets, and V-style dovetails that fit most mounts. Hard cases are included and an optional 0.9x reducer/corrector is available for each that results in focal ratios of f/5.8.
