Sightron Partners with Player One to Introduce New Suite of Planetary Cameras

Sightron (Japan) will be releasing five new planetary cameras from Player One Astronomy (China) to make them more readily available to customers. The cameras use Sony CMOS sensors that vary by size, resolution, and type (monochrome and color), and offer a choice of frame rate and onboard DDR3 memory. Some models include a tip-tilt sensor plate to avoid Newton’s rings when imaging the Sun, and dead pixel suppression. Player One offers a broad range of accessories including UV/IR cut-off filters,, adapters, and a fish eye lens for all-sky photography with the optional 1/4″-20 tripod adapter.
