Orion has introduced a new Dobsonian Reflector Telescope, the BL135mm with a 5.3-inch (135mm) f/8.1 spherical mirror made of soda-lime plate glass. The 2-inch focuser will accept 2-inch eyepieces as well as 1.25-inch eyepieces with the included adapter. Two 1.25-inch eyepieces, a 25mm Kellner eyepiece (44x) and a 10mm Plossl eyepiece (109x), along with a 3x Barlow lens that triples the magnification of the eyepieces. A red dot finder and Orion’s MoonMap 260 are also included. Tension knobs are available to tighten the movement when making adjumstments in altitude and azimuth.
