Orion Telescopes and Binoculars has announced two new products for astronomy in the GiantView series.
The GiantView ED 20×100 Waterproof Astronomy Binoculars has 100mm objective lenses with fixed eyepieces providing 20x magnification with 20mm eye relief. The binoculars feature fully multi-coated optics, BAK-4 prisms, interior baffling, and rubberized exterior. These binoculars weigh 9.2 lbs.
The GiantView BT-120 90-degree Binocular Telescope has 120mm f/5.5 objective lenses and includes a pair of 18mm, 65-degree eyepieces (37x). Any pair of 1.25″ eyepieces can be used in the 90-degree eyepiece holders. The unit is waterproof and nitrogen purged, A hard shell case and dovetail base for finder scopes are included. This binocular telescope weighs 20.25 pounds.
