Celestron has announced its latest line of eyepieces, the Ultima Edge series. Focal lengths for 1.25″ focusers include 10mm, 15mm, 28mm, and 24mm, with a 30mm offered for 2″ focusers. Ultima Edge eyepieces are parfocal within the line, fully multi-coated, and offer an apparent field of view ranging from 60 to 70 degrees. Eye relief is generous, from 16mm in the shortest focal length to 29mm. Fold-down rubber eye guards allow comfortable viewing with or without eyeglasses, and a molded rubber grip ring provides non-slip handling.
